The ServiceBureau Jugendinformation (translation: service office youth information) was founded in 1991 as a part of the youth educational centre LidiceHaus.
We offer guidance and support for international youth exchanges organized by youth workers and actively involved people in the field of international youth exchanges. We especially inform about the EU program ERASMUS+ ( www.jugend-in-aktion.de).
We counsel young people finding opportunities for going abroad: Workcamps, International Youth Exchanges, Volunteer Services (especially the European Voluntary Service – EVS), internships and so on. Here we are one of the local EURODESK partners in Germany.
We are also very active in the field of media pedagogy and child-welfare and we inform young people on our platform jugendinfo.de about youth relevant topics.
We offer trainings, seminars and workshops for social workers, teachers and youth workers on the topics new media, media pedagogy and international youth work.
We are financed by the government of Bremen and additional funding for special projects.
